I then used a mix of spirit gum, liquid latex and tissue to attach the prosthetics to the models face. I then painted her face and neck blue, using dark blue for contours and white for highlights. She then popped on a blue wig and I stuck a dead wasp to her nose (a true friend). I photoshopped the eyes and part of her lip from the actual American Horror Story poster.

This piece was completely inspired by Jordan Hanz's Mermaid Siren video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Gdef_evAN0
I used model magic, acrylic paint, face paint, spirit gum, liquid latex and fake moss.
To get the different indents of the coral I used the backs of different pens and pencils, anything to get texture. I painted each one differently as well as using different heights and shapes for each, to make sure they look nothing alike. I wanted the whole piece to be really bright as I tend to lean towards darker SFX. Hope you like it :)

Cult Poster: American Horror Story Beehive SFX
By taking inspiration from madeyewlook and the poster from American Horror Story Cult I created a beehive using model magic.
I first created the beehive on a polystyrene head using model magic. I made the hexagon shapes by using a piece of cardboard glued to the end of a pencil. After waiting a few days to let the clay dry, I painted the beehive by using acrylic and alcohol activated paints.
I used a bald-cap on my model, and blended the sides with tissue, glue and latex (as this cap was from poundland, it look a while to blend). I then used white face-paint and eyeshadow to create the makeup look.
Finally, I added a coat of gloss, some real honey to drip down, and a dead bee.
A massive thank you to Bobbie for letting me drip honey down her face and have a dead bee on her head :)

This shoot was inspired by Brandon Woelfel. As I was using a 55mm lens which didn't have a low enough aperture, to create the bokeh effect, I photoshopped the surrounding area of all the fairy lights with a white, blurred brush (I also did this to the reflection in the glasses).
Before I photoshopped any of the photos, I used the same preset on Lightroom, which has a slight blue and pink filter, which gives the 'tumblr' effect. The last four photos, I just used a Lightroom pre-made preset (B&W Look 2). Hope you like them and a massive thank you to Emily who modelled <3
